Kill

Here are some videos about kill.

Kill from T-point:

Trainer serves shuttles high into the front court.
The student kills the shuttles by gripping the racket.
The intensity can be individually adjusted.

Comments for this video:
The student works well

Kill with fronthand - backhand:

Coach throws shuttles up into the right and left front court.
The student kills on the right side with forehand and on the left side with backhand.
The intensity can be individually adjusted.

Comments for this video:
The student works well.
He could use larger and therefor fewer steps and should arrive on the backhand side with a wider jump. The backhand gets to much ellbowflexion and to low forearnrotation.

2 Students kill at net (they get shutten shuttles):

Coach hits shuttles up into front court.
The students kill each 2x on goals (ballrolls) and than rotate.
The goals are only for motivation and must not be hitten.

Comments for this video:
The students solve with lot of forearm rotation. This leads to inaccuracies.
The racket is often too low after 1st beat.

2 Students kill at net with fronthand (they get thrown shuttles):

Coach throws shuttles up into front court.
The students kill each 2x on goals (ballrolls) and than rotate.
The goals are only for motivation and must not be hitten.

Comments for this video:
The students solve with lot of forearm rotation. This leads to inaccuracies.

2 Students kill at net with fronthand and backhand (they get thrown shuttles):

Coach throws shuttles up into front court. First to the forehand and then to the backhand.
The students kill each 2x on goals (ballrolls) and than rotate.
The goals are only for motivation and must not be hitten.

Comments for this video:
Sometimes the racket head could be hold at a little steeper angle.

2 Students kill just over net (they get thrown shuttles):

Coach throws shuttles just over the net.
The students kill each 2x on goals (ballrolls) and than rotate.
The goals are only for motivation and must not be hitten.
In real match this situation often occurs after the opponent plays a netdrop too high.

Comments for this video:
Sometimes the students could better use the backhand than forehand.
Some shuttles were beaten on the opposing side!!!
